I believe students thrive when clear expectations are balanced with patience, encouragement, and genuine care. I thoughtfully structure each lesson around the student’s age, learning style, goals, and personality.

My goal is not simply to help students learn individual pieces, but to give them the skills to understand music and grow independently. Lessons may include technique, note reading, rhythm, ear training, music theory, musical expression, and effective practice strategies.

Whether a student is beginning piano for the first time, learning for personal enjoyment, or preparing for an RCM examination, I want each lesson to feel purposeful, supportive, and inspiring.
